Some people struggle with whether to buy workwear or coverall at work, the two are different but both exist to keep you safe at work. It’s simple, it’s a coverall garment that protects your legs, chest, shoulders, and arms, covering your entire body and providing you with greater protection. Workwear, on the other hand, is a separate garment, which can be a jacket or a pair of trousers, and can be worn together, but is less tight than a coverall. So if you are in an industry with a high level of risk, choose the safety coverall.
There are various types of workwear such as Flame-Retardant Coveralls, Waterproof Coveralls, and High Visibility Coveralls, these can be selected to suit your working environment. We have a Safety Flame-Retardant Anti-Static Coverall which is suitable for workers who are regularly exposed to flammable materials or open flames. It is made from 99% Cotton and 1% Anti-static satin, which is not only flame retardant but also anti-static and weighs 350g/m2, making it thicker but safer. The Fire retardant coverall has a quality YKK zip and metal four-way fastenings on the front to ensure a tight fit while maintaining the aesthetics of the workwear. The 50mm reflective fire retardant tape on the shoulders, arms, and legs will help to alert workers in dark conditions and prevent accidents. The back of the garment has a back pleat in order not to interfere with the worker’s work, which is normally associated with large movements. The cuffs are adjustable and can be adjusted to suit your situation. Work requires tools, so the suit has 2 chest pockets and 1 leg pocket, and 2 back pockets with flaps to make it easy to carry not only tools but also communication tools.
In dry weather, the friction between clothes and the body can generate static elaltectricity, which can cause discomfort to the worker. This is why you can also choose an anti-static coverall when choosing your workwear, which provides double protection for your safety.
